The DiamondGlow facial, step by step

Exfoliation, extraction and serum infusion in one appointment with no downtime.

The DiamondGlow facial, step by step

We take the view that healthy skin is the foundation, and injectables are the finish. Filler and neurotoxin do their job well, but skin quality is what people notice first. DiamondGlow is one of the treatments we rely on to build it.

What a DiamondGlow treatment is

DiamondGlow uses a recessed diamond tip wand to resurface skin, combined with pneumatic suction that lifts away dead cells and impurities while medical grade serum is infused into the skin. So we remove what is not needed and deliver what is, in a single pass.

The serums typically include hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and peptides, chosen to hydrate, brighten and plump. One of the advantages is that the serum is selected for your skin rather than fixed in advance.

Benefits

  1. Texture and tone. Exfoliation and suction clear dead cells, unclog pores and prompt cell turnover, which leaves skin smoother and more even.
  2. Hydration. The infused serum is matched to your concern, whether that is dryness, fine lines or breakouts.
  3. Fine lines. Regular treatment supports collagen production, so lines soften across a series rather than in one visit.
  4. Congestion and acne. Suction clears pores and lifts impurities, which suits acne prone skin well.
  5. Product performance. With dead cells removed, your home skincare penetrates better and works harder.
  6. Immediate result. Most patients see improved texture, tone and hydration the same day.

What to expect at your appointment

Come with a clean face. We will talk through your current skin concerns, your goals for the treatment and anything else relevant. The treatment itself takes under an hour.

It is not a painful treatment, and there is no downtime. You can go straight back to your day. Redness, peeling and discomfort are not part of this one.

In a manufacturer study, patients reported a deep clean, firmer feeling skin and more radiance. Our advice is to book it when you have a little time afterwards, so you can enjoy the result rather than rush from it.

Who it suits

Almost anyone. Many patients start here because the result is strong and the downtime is nil. We treat teenagers working on congestion, brides and bridesmaids ahead of a wedding, new mothers wanting brightness back, and patients well into later decades. We treat men regularly too, often because they want a visible result without recovery time.

How often to book

It depends on your goals. Some patients come once before a significant event. Some come quarterly. We often suggest monthly, because skin turns over every four to six weeks.

We also consider what else you are doing. If you are running a microneedling series, or coming in every three months for neurotoxin, that changes the schedule. DiamondGlow combines comfortably with other treatments, and we can often pair it with an injectable appointment to save you a trip.

Afterwards

The single best way to extend the result is medical grade skincare at home. In-clinic treatment and a proper home routine together make a far bigger difference than either alone.

What sets it apart from a standard facial

Customisation. There are eight different tips, which change the level of exfoliation, and the serum is chosen for your skin. Lines, hydration or breakouts, the same treatment can be aimed at any of them.

If you are in Spicer, Willmar, New London or anywhere in the Willmar Lakes Area, book a consultation and we will build a skin plan around it.

Start with a consultation

We begin with a conversation about your goals, your history and what is realistic. Your provider will review options with you before anything is planned.
